ABOUT CINDY

Cindy Lissette Miranda León, born in Guayaquil, Ecuador. At four, my family relocated to Quito for better opportunities, a decision for which I am deeply grateful.
My musical journey began with the "Voces Unidas con Fe y Alegría" choir under Ecuadorian Soprano
Bernarda Holguín, where I developed my musical skills and formed lasting connections.

A significant milestone was my involvement with CAF’s “Música para Crecer” program, which uses art to uplift marginalized youth.

In 2007, I represented Ecuador at the largest choir festival in Paris as part of the "Pequeños Cantores de los Andes," promoting social inclusion and unity.
Additionally, I joined FOSJE (Youth Symphony Orchestra Foundation of Ecuador), receiving a partial scholarship and becoming a cellist and opera singer. By 15, I was leading vocal ensembles, and at 19, I directed the "Manos Blancos de Quito" choir, a groundbreaking initiative for the deaf and disabled community.

My work with CAF and FOSJE has solidified my reputation as a choir director dedicated to social inclusion, demonstrating the transformative power of music to break barriers and unite people.
